An AMAZING Nutella milkshake that is SO thick and delicious!!

I recently just got back from visiting my sister in Arizona. And although it’s still frozen here in New England, I desperately need another one of these mind-blowing shakes!!

If you’ve ever had a Zinburger Nutella milkshake, then you know why they are SO incredibly addictive!! They are thick chocolate milkshakes that literally taste like you’re drinking Nutella through a straw. So, they’re basically heaven.

I’ve always been a chocoholic/Nutella addict, and even I could never have predicted just how AMAZING these milkshakes are. I had never been to a Zinburger restaurant before, but my sisters have talked about these milkshakes for years. And now, I can finally understand why. To say that these milkshakes were a highlight of my trip is an understatement. I have thought of little else since.

Unfortunately, there are no Zinburger restaurants around where I live; so I knew that I just had to recreate it for myself. And I kid you not, this homemade version is even better than the original!!

Plus, this recipe is super easy and fast, and it only has 3 ingredients. This recipe makes 4milkshakes at a time, but you can easily decrease it to 2 or even 1 (if you have that much restraint).

Personally, I could easily drink 2 of these in a sitting. But don’t worry, I *cough* would never do such a thing.

However, it is a very rich milkshake; so you probably should stick to one. (I won’t blame you if you can’t though)

Enough said! Let’s get blending!!

Making a Nutella Milkshake

First off, we’ll need to get our ingredients out. There’s only 3 of them:

  • Whole milk
  • Nutella
  • Chocolate ice cream

All set? Good! Let’s get started!!

First, we need to scoop the ice cream into the blender and then add the Nutella and milk.

Blend for about 2 minutes, or until the mixture is completely smooth. You might want to scrape down the sides and blend for an extra minute in order to make sure that your Nutella isn’t stuck to the sides of the blender. Also, you may need to add more milk depending on how thick you like your milkshakes. Personally, I like mine to be closer to a frappe consistency.

Pour into tall glasses and serve with whipped cream, if desired.

And there you have it! A delicious, Nutella milkshake!!

Zinburger Copycat Nutella Milkshake

The most AMAZING Nutella milkshake ever!!
Note: the "cook time" is approximately how long you are blending the milkshakes.
Prep Time 5 mins
Cook Time 5 mins
Total Time 10 mins

Cuisine American
Servings 4

  • 8 scoups chocolate ice cream
  • 3/4 cup Nutella
  • 1 cup milk

  • In a blender, blend all three ingredients together until a thick, smooth milkshake has formed; about 2 minutes.
  • Add more milk, if necessary, to bring to your desired thickness. Personally, I prefer it to be more like a frappe.
  • Scrape down the sides of the blender and blend until Nutella is completely mixed in (it tends to stick to the sides); about 1 minute.
  • Pour into 4 tall glasses, serve immediately, and enjoy!!
